Ordering & prices

Are your prices the same as the manufacturer's recommended retail prices?

Yes. Every price is calculated from the NSW price list (January 2026, version 1.0) at recommended retail price, with 10% GST added. The configurator shows both the GST-inclusive price and the RRP before GST.

Why do some options say "P.O.A." or "price on application"?

The manufacturer prices some options on application, for example certain premium timber faces, special sizes and commercial fire doors. You can still add them to your cart. We send you a written quote before anything is charged.

Can I order a custom size?

Many doors can be made to order in custom sizes within limits shown on each product. Choose "Custom size" in the size step, enter the height and width, and the price is worked out from the next standard size up plus the manufacturer's made-to-order surcharge. We confirm every custom order before production.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Most doors are made to order, so changes or cancellations to made-to-order doors are only accepted on the day of ordering. Please check sizes, handing and options carefully before you order.

Do you sell to builders and trades?

Yes. Builders order online like anyone else: configure each door, use the full price table to compare options, add jambs or frames, and put your job or PO reference at checkout. Pay by bank transfer, PayPal or card, and collect from the closest factory with your own transport.

Do you install doors?

Prices are for supply only - installation is not included. Doors should be installed by a competent person following the manufacturer's installation instructions, and the manufacturer publishes step-by-step DIY videos.

Collection & payment

How do I get my doors?

You collect your order free from the factory closest to you. Enter your postcode at checkout and we choose the closest factory: Sydney, Newcastle, Port Macquarie, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Cairns, Darwin, Melbourne, Launceston, Adelaide or Perth.

Can you arrange a courier for me?

Orders are collected from the closest factory. If collecting will be difficult, call 0450 800 088 and we will see what we can do.

What payment methods do you accept?

Direct bank transfer, PayPal, and credit or debit card (Visa or Mastercard through Stripe). For bank transfer, use your order reference as the payment reference; your order is released once the funds have cleared.

How long will my doors take?

Most doors are made to order. The manufacturer states manufacturing typically takes 3 to 20 business days depending on the door, and glazing, special sizes, veneers and machining can add time. We confirm your expected date after you order.

How do I get help with an order?

Use "Open a support request" on your order page, or the contact form. We open a support request and email you a private link where you can follow it and reply. You can also call 0450 800 088 and quote your order reference.

When can I collect my order?

We email you when your order is ready, with the factory address and your order reference. Please wait for that message before you go to the factory.

Choosing a door

What size is a standard door?

Most internal doors are 2040mm high x 820mm wide x 35mm thick, with widths from 520 to 920mm and 2340mm-high versions for raised ceilings. Most entrance doors are 2040 x 820 x 40mm, and many ranges also come 1200mm wide or 2340mm high. Each product lists its exact sizes.

What is the difference between hollow core and solid core doors?

Honeycomb (hollow core) doors are lighter and more economical. Solicore and other solid-core doors are heavier, feel more substantial and block more sound - for example Rw 30 for Solicore against Rw 25 for a honeycomb door in the range.

How do I know if I need a left or right hand door?

The manufacturer describes handing by the side the hinges are on. Our handing guide walks you through it, and the configurator asks for handing on products where it matters, such as prehung doors and asymmetric designs.

What is a BAL rating and do I need one?

A Bushfire Attack Level (BAL) describes how much ember attack and radiant heat a building may face. If your site has a BAL assessment, choose a door and frame rated to at least that level. The manufacturer offers BAL12.5, BAL19, BAL29 and BAL40 rated doors and frames.

Can I get the bushfire assessment report or other technical documents?

Yes. Our Technical information page summarises the BAL assessment reports, frame fixing requirements, NCC 2022 doorway notes, construction types, hinge set-ups and sound ratings. Tick the documents you need there and we will email you the PDFs for your builder or certifier.

How many hinges does my door need?

Hollow core doors up to 2340 x 820mm need 2 hinges. Solid or semi-solid doors up to 2040 x 820mm, and hollow core doors over 2340 x 820mm, need 3. Solid doors and doors over 2040 x 820mm need 4, and doors over 2500 x 820mm need 5. Set the top hinge at least 150mm from the top and the bottom hinge 230mm from the bottom.

Care & guarantee

What guarantee do doors have?

The manufacturer guarantees its doors for five years from shipment (fire doors one year, and steel door frames carry a one-year warranty), subject to conditions such as sealing all edges, using light paint colours on entrance doors and hanging them under overhead protection. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law also apply.

Can I paint my front door a dark colour?

The manufacturer asks for entrance and exterior doors to be painted in colours with a light reflectance value (LRV) above 50. Darker colours absorb heat, which can cause warping, and void the warranty.

How much can I trim off a door?

A maximum of 3mm can be trimmed evenly from any edge. Trimming more can weaken the door and void the guarantee, so order the right size or a custom size instead.
