Terms & conditions of sale
The terms that apply when you order from this website.
These terms apply to orders placed with Parallel Enterprises Pty Ltd T/A Timber Doors Direct (ABN 89 602 297 594) through this website. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
1. Prices
- Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. They are based on the recommended retail prices in the current NSW price list.
- Items shown as "price on application" (P.O.A.) and special sizes in premium timbers are quoted before you pay.
- If a price on the website is clearly wrong, we will contact you before processing the order and you may cancel for a full refund.
2. Orders
- An order is accepted when we confirm it (by email) or when card or PayPal payment is completed. We may decline an order, for example if a product is no longer available, and will refund any payment in full.
- You are responsible for choosing the correct size, handing, glass, face and options. Please read our measuring guide and handing guide or ask us before ordering.
- Made-to-order products: most doors are made to your specification. Changes or cancellations to made-to-order doors are only accepted on the day of ordering.
3. Payment
At checkout you can pay by direct bank transfer, PayPal, or credit or debit card (Visa or Mastercard, processed by Stripe). For bank transfers, use your order reference as the payment reference: orders are released for collection once the funds have cleared in our account. Quoted orders are payable after you accept the quote. Goods remain our property until paid for in full.
4. Collection and delivery
- Orders are collected from the factory you choose at checkout (by default the closest one to your postcode). We do not charge for collection. See Collection & delivery.
- At checkout you agree to collect the order once we tell you it is ready.
- Ready dates are estimates based on the manufacturer's lead times. We are not liable for delays outside our reasonable control.
- Risk in the goods passes to you at collection. Please inspect your order on collection or arrival: damage or defects must be notified in writing within 7 days.
5. Guarantee and returns
Doors carry the manufacturer's guarantee, subject to its conditions, including finishing, overhead protection and light paint colours. See Returns & guarantee. We do not accept change-of-mind returns on made-to-order products.
6. Installation
Prices are for supply only. Doors should be installed by a competent person following the manufacturer's instructions. Damage caused by incorrect installation, trimming beyond 3mm per edge, or failure to seal and finish the door is not covered.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any loss is limited to replacing or repairing the goods or refunding the price paid. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
8. Website use
Product images and descriptions are supplied by the manufacturer for illustration. Timber is a natural product, so colour, texture and grain vary. Content on this site may not be copied for commercial use without our permission.
